Running is good for everyone so we are happy to offer a series of short races for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Participation is free but a parent or guardian does need to sign a waiver on race day. Preregistration is not required. All participants will receive a finishers ribbon and a coupon for a free kids’ meal at Chipotle.
Schedule Distance
9:30 kindergarteners and first graders 500 meters
9:40 second and third graders 1,000 meters
9:50 fourth and fifth graders 1,500 meters
In addition to racing for kids there will be a petting zoo sponsored by Spike’s Treats, and there is a large playground adjacent to the race finish party area. So bring the whole family and enjoy a beautiful morning in Fountain Hills.
